NASA/KSC has a requirement for Spacecraft Control Language (SCL) software CL port to IMB Power5-Platform AIX operation system v5.3l and 16-30 user licenses
NASA/KSC intends to purchase the services from Interface & Control System (ICS) Incorporated, a wholly owned subsidiary of Systems Research and Applications Corporation. Per the authority of FAR 6.302-1 the services are available from only one responsible source and no other type of services will satify the agency requirements due to the utilization of proprietary data.
The Government intends to acquire commercial items/services using FAR Part 12.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to Gloria McIntosh at email: gloria.a.mcintosh@nasa.gov not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on January 9, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
