REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI)
FOR CRYOGENIC FLEXHOSES
Introduction
National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) invites potential offerors to submit a response to this RFI to find interested and qualified sources and planning information for the design, development, manufacture, and acceptance / qualification testing of Low Pressure Liquid (LH2 & LO2) Cryogenic Convoluted Vacuum Jacketed Hoses and High Pressure Gaseous Cryogenic Helium Convoluted Vacuum Jacketed Hoses. These safety and mission critical cryogenic flexhoses will be utilized in the Constellation Program for the Ground Support Equipment transfer of cryogenic fluids / gases from Launch umbilical tower /arms to the Crew Launch Vehicle (CLV) Upper Stage’s Main Propulsion System (MPS).
