Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.
The following Answer(s) to Question(s) are hereby incorporated as Amendment #02:
Q: What is the requested delivery date for the VIP?
A: Requested delivery date is 9/30/08, but the Government will accept piping as soon as its available. Gov't requests estimated delivery date with Vendor Bids.
Q: Will NASA/KSC provide KSC’s and Military spec’s listed 79K35467, sheet 5 of 16?
A: Yes, except for NASA-STD-5008, which does not apply to this procurement.
Q: Regarding the Vacuum pump-out component, can NASA KSC provide the spec and drawing 79K14672-2?
A: Yes, please see attached.
Q: Section 3.1.11 states that the manufacturer is responsible to verify all existing dimensions. When will site and all connecting equipment be available for field verification?
A: Site and connecting equipment is available currently.
Q: Section 3.1.11 states manufacturer to verify support locations and configurations. Please provide definition of support locations and configurations that are to verified.
A: Please see attached "ILLUSTRATION VJ PIPING SEGMENTS_pr.doc" to show approximate configurations and 79K35402 to show piping support. This procurement REPLACES existing piping for both Dewars as shown on 79K35402 which connect to dewar interfaces CP-1, CP-2, and CP-3, and also a non-VJ pipe spool connecting to the Liquid Withdrawal Line CP-2.
