The National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Kennedy Space Center (KSC) is planning to issue a Draft Request for Proposal (DRFP) in the June 2007 timeframe for the acquisition of KSC’s Institutional Services Contract (ISC), which includes infrastructure operations and maintenance (O&M), propellants and life support, logistics, laboratory, and airfield/aircraft service requirements.
In order to accommodate industry teaming arrangements and to maximize subcontracting opportunities for small businesses, KSC has posted the names of the companies that have expressed interest in this procurement up to this point in time. This information is available on the World Wide Web at http://ibsr.ksc.nasa.gov/IBSR/default.cfm .
For planning purposes, KSC intends to conduct site visits shortly after release of the DRFP. Interested parties are encouraged to monitor the website for additional information, which will be posted as it becomes available.
This is not a solicitation announcement. When a solicitation is released, it will be synopsized in FedBizOpps and on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service. It is the potential offeror’s responsibility to monitor these sites for the release of any solicitation or synopsis.
