National Engineers Week is an annual event that promotes awareness of and appreciation for Engineers and their work. This nationwide effort involves over 3 million engineers, teachers and students in a variety of activities that recognize accomplishments of all engineers.  Goddard Space Flight Center participates by inviting schools to register for a classroom visit by a GSFC engineer or technician.  The speaker will share with students the story of his/her career and make connections to how mathematics, science and engineering advance space exploration as well as to daily applications for the world around us. This provides an opportunity to showcase not only the engineering and technological contributions of our nation, but for students to understand the relevant links to their coursework.

Complete registration form, in order to reserve a NASA speaker.  Refer to the Handbook to find Pre/Post Visit classroom suggestions. We are giving schools extra time to register to encourage maximum participation. Speaker visits will be available until the end of the spring term. Early registration is encouraged.
