The Small Business Administration's pre-release program works on training offenders that have the potential capital to startup a new business upon release. There is potential for overlap between the prisoner re-entry work that faith-based groups do and the training offered by the SBA. Some in the SBA program may be in need of employment while completing their entrepreneurial training. Others may have successfully setup their business and may be in need of the quality employees.
