  Multiple Education Pathway Learning Exchange

November 12 – 13, 2008

Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia

  The U.S. Department of Labor’s Employment & Training Administration (ETA) and other co-sponsors will convene a national dialogue on Multiple Education Pathways on November 12-13, 2008 at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City, Arlington, Virginia.  Material for the Learning Exchange is contained on this page.

This Learning Exchange will convene communities and organizations who are working to develop multiple education pathways that address dropout prevention and re-engagement for a one and a half day summit.  The focus will be in-depth sharing of best practices and common challenges among conference participants.  The goals for the Learning Exchange are to:
  • Raise awareness of the various efforts underway;
  • Generate collaborative conversations across sites for the purpose of sharing effective practices and leveraging knowledge; and
  • Create a network of community practitioners who can inform Federal and state policy development and the philanthropic community.
Webinar:
Pre Learning Exchange Webinars will be hosted, October 30th and November 4th at 2 pm.

These Webinars will provide an overview of each of the initiatives represented at the learning exchange and address the specific goals and objectives of the event. Since the learning exchange is intended as a working meeting, this Webinar will review the event agenda and describe how participants can come prepared and ready to engage their peers. It is strongly encouraged that all learning exchange attendees participate in one of the pre-exchange Webinars to ensure that the event is productive and informative for all involved.

Please go to: www.workforce3one.org to register for these Webinars.  You must register on Workforce3One prior to the Webinar.
