Biography of Administrator John R. Beverly III

Photo of Administrator John R. Beverly III John R. Beverly, III was appointed as Administrator, Office of Performance and Technology, in May 2006. As Administrator, he provides direction to the Employment and Training Administration's information technology services and its performance accountability and strategic planning activities.

In the Employment and Training Administration (ETA), Mr. Beverly has served as Administrator, ETA's former Office of National Programs; Director, Office of Adult, Dislocated Worker and Trade Assistance; Director and Deputy Director of the United States Employment Service. Mr. Beverly has also held management positions in the ETA's former Office of Strategic Planning and Policy Development.

Mr. Beverly has held senior analyst positions with the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Policy, Evaluation and Research, the Secretary's Commission on Workforce Quality and Labor Efficiency, the ILO Washington Branch Office, and the President's Health Care Task Force. His management experience includes directing the program evaluation activities in the Women's Bureau, U.S. Department of Labor.

Mr. Beverly is a graduate of Howard University, Washington, D.C., and the Woodrow Wilson School of Domestic and International Affairs, Princeton University, Princeton, New Jersey.
