The Materials Performance and Reliability Department undertakes the business operations of the Center, including the conception, development, and implementation of strategic planning activities and external partnership development. The Department is also the principal point of contact with the Nuclear Weapons business unit at Sandia and has the responsibility for coordinating the activities of the Materials Science and Technology Council.
