[BASIC STATEMENT OF REQUIREMENT]
NASA/DFRC has a requirement for DSix Multi-Model Bundle V1.95 and support.
[SPECIFICATIONS]
The specifications are:
(1) DSix Multi-Model Bundle V1.95 –Single User, Product # RET-D6A-MME-SU (product # used is Bihrle #)
• 1 license DSix Developer Edition v1.95
• 1 license DSix Desktop Edition V1.95
• DSixNet network package
• 1 year of technical support
• 1 year of product updated
• 3 days training for up to 2 people in Hampton, VA
(2) 1 yr DSix Maintenance Support Contract, Product # RET-D6S-MM1YR
• Extends current DSix technical support period through December 31, 2009
• Free product updated for 1 license of DSix Developer and 1 license of DSix Desktop during the support period
[SOLE SOURCE EXPLANATION]
NASA/DFRC intends to purchase the above items from Bihrle Applied Research, Inc. This is a modification to the previous contract NND07AD41P to extend the maintenance support contract and to add another single user.
[FOLLOW-UP AND LEGAL]
The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12 and 13.
Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on January 31, 2009. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.
Oral communications are NOT acceptable in response to this notice.
All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
