THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. ONE (1) TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR CUSTOM CLEAN ROOM. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.
The purpose of this amendment is to clarify and answer questions regarding this requirement.

Is there a sketch/drawing of the Clean Room and various components of what the end-user wants?

Is the Gown Room inside or adjacent to the Clean Room?

Where is the inside or outside location of the Gown Room relative to the Clean Room?

Is there any Process Exhaust Air, and if so how much CFM?

Yes. CFM is unknown. Goddard facilities will be installing a separate air handling system for the entire lab.

Are Item #’s 11-16 spare parts? OR Are Item #’s 11-16 integral components of Item #1?

Neither. These are to close the gaps where the softwall corners meet.

Is there a Brand Name and Model Number associated for Item #10?

No. Only requirements were listed.

Can a site visit be arranged to view the location and application of the Clean Room?

On Item 1- D, is the 4’ x 8’ gowning room interior or exterior to the 12x18 main room?

Is the front of the unit solid panels 7’ high with polysim inserts 6’6" high but open at the bottom by 6"? or curtains at 6’6" high with a hinged door unit?

The former: open at bottom by 6”.

On Item 15, what is the with of the area that needs strip curtains?
Answer# 12:
One 18” wall is hardwall. Remaining walls and outer wall of gowning room are all softwall. Reference attached sketch.
