Modification 01 to the synopsis entitled “Pre-solicitation synopsis of proposed contract action for Ares Electric Thrust Vector Control Prototype Risk Reduction Procurement”, Solicitation Number NNM08261607R, was posted on August 28, 2008 in order to notify Industry that NASA determined to put the subject acquisition on hold pending further agency reviews. Upon further reviews, the agency has determined to proceed with the release of the subject RFP. As a result, this modification to the subject synopsis is intended to notify industry that the anticipated release date of the final RFP is on or about October 1, 2008 with an anticipated offer due date of on or about October 30, 2008.
The specifications, final solicitation, and any documents related to this procurement will be available over the Internet. These documents will reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server, which may be accessed using a WWW browser application. Prospective offerors shall notify this office of their intent to submit an offer no later than 1600 Central Time on September 30, 2008. All contractual technical questions must be submitted in writing (e-mail or fax). Telephone questions will not be accepted. An ombudsman has been appointed -- See NASA Specific Note "B".
