THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR PYROFUSE WIRE. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued.

The purpose of this amendment is to answer a question asked before due date:

Question 1: Could you provide any composition details for this material. Is this the same as the "Pyrofuze" alloy offered by Sigmund Cohn Company, which I believe to be 95.5%Palladium and 4.5% Ruthenium?

Answer: Wire composition - Outer Jacket: 5% Ruthenium Balance: Palladium - Inner Core: #5056 Aoouminum. Sigmund Cohn Co does offer this wire.

The due date for receipt of offers is not extended.

Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on 8/27/2008.
