Modification 4 to the pre-solicitation synopsis for the NASA/JSC ISS Program Integration & Control (PI&C) Pre-Solicitation No. NNJ08ZBG002L posted on March 28, 2008, serves as notification to:
(1) Inform Industry that the Government has posted the acquisition schedule which is outlined on the ISS PI&C procurement website referenced in NNJ08ZBG002L (http://procurement.jsc.nasa.gov/isspic/default.asp ).
(2) Inform Industry that the Government does not intend to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12, see Note 26.
(3) Inform Industry that the contract type is an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Fixed Price using Fixed Rates.
(4) This potential 5-year contract will have a 60-day (calendar days) phase-in period. The period of performance will be for three base years with two 1-year options.
(5) The Draft RFP will be issued on or about September 23, 2008.
(6) The Pre-Proposal conference is scheduled for October 9, 2008.
