Description
 
NASA/MSFC has a requirement for a follow-on Phase 2 of a three-phase customization of MSFC-owned Microsoft Visio Professional (2003) software. This procurement is for modification of existing Visio software to allow for the creation of a unique seamless electronic design system. The ultimate benefit to NASA/MSFC will be increased design visibility and control and also reduced design development time.

NASA/MSFC intends to purchase these services from Visimation, Inc. Visimation, Inc., is the only 3rd party vendor licensed by Microsoft to develop customized programs based on customer-owned Microsoft Visio Professional software and they can provide customization services to Marshall Space Flight Center.

The Government intends to acquire a commercial item using FAR Part 12.

Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact not later than 4:30 p.m. local time on August 30, 2005. Such capabilities/qualifications will be evaluated solely for the purpose of determining whether or not to conduct this procurement on a competitive basis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the government.

All responsible sources may submit an offer which shall be considered by the agency.
