The NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) is a World-Wide Web (WWW) service, from which industry has immediate access to current acquisition information over the Internet. Users may subscribe to receive email notifications on acquisitions of interest. NAIS is a feeder system for Federal E-Gov Systems like the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO). NAIS provides industry links to reference information such as Regulations, Clauses, Provisions, Handbooks and Guidance Documents. NAIS also provides industry a central location to find each NASA field Center's Procurement home page. Additionally, NAIS provides NASA Procurement professionals with a suite of procurement tools for internal use.

What are the minimum software and system requirements to view and utilize the NAIS features?

You must utilize Internet browsers at their latest version level. The minimum video resolution should be 800x600 at 256 colors or larger. Any older versions of Internet browsers or lower video resolutions can produce unpredictable results and are 'not' supported. The solicitation documents available on NAIS are in common MS-Office formats that can be downloaded and used in most word processing applications to build your proposals. What do I get from NAIS?

Synopses, solicitations, award notices, acquisition forecasts, regulations, forms, and small business assistance. All NASA synopses and all competitive solicitations over $25,000 are posted on the Internet.
