SPECIAL WEBCAST - Antarctica: Meteroite Mysteries - The Search for Space Rocks Dec. 17 - 11:30-12:30 Eastern Time

A NASA Scientist will connect live, via satellite phone, with NASA's Digital Learning Network (DLN) team of experts while searching for pieces of space in the blue and white world of Antarctica! Selected schools from across the country will have the opportunity to participate in a highly interactive video conference experience with NASA scientists at Johnson Space Center, NASA scientist Mary Sue Bell and other researchers in Antarctica as they search for meteorites, learn to work as a team in extreme environments, and help to answer questions about life on other planets!  JOIN THE WEB CAST!

NASA eClips are short, relevant educational video segments. These videos inspire and engage students, helping them see real world connections. New video segments are produced weekly exploring current applications of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) topics. The programs are produced for targeted audiences: K-5, 6-8,9-12 and the general public.

DLN Staff Profile: Roger Storm


Roger Storm is in his 15th year at the Glenn Research Center, 13 years as Summer Faculty and now two years as the GRC Digital Learning Network Coordinator. He taught high school chemistry and science for 35 years. Roger and GRC engineer Tom Benson have given talks around the country as the Wright brothers. He is the principal author of NASA's educator’s guides "Learning to Fly: The Wright Brothers Adventure” and “Pushing the Envelope: A NASA Guide to Engines.” Married for 35 years, he is the father of eight and the grandfather of ten and a four-day "JEOPARDY" champion.
