Santa Rosa Junior College (SRJC) is committed to preparing a well-educated, well-trained workforce to ensure the economic vitality of our region and state. The changing workplace has accelerated the need for flexible education and employment training.

SRJC’s career training and economic development programs equip Sonoma County’s workforce and employers with broad-based skills for competing in today’s global economy.  No matter what your role in the economy—business owner, student, employee, or employer—SRJC has a program for you!

CERTIFICATE PROGRAMS
Over 170 outstanding occupational and career preparation programs offer training options to students and employees alike. Program completion leads to career certificates, two-year degrees, credits for university transfer, or workplace skill enhancement.

ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT INSTITUTE (EDI)
The EDI is a North Bay catalyst for collaboration and communication between SRJC and industry. It partners with area businesses to address industry workforce training needs and to support and promote a sustainable, healthy regional economy.

REDWOOD EMPIRE SMALL BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT CENTER
SRJC offers small businesses free, one-on-one professional business counseling, low cost workshops and seminars, and assistance on new product development, among other services.

WORKFORCE TRAINING
SRJC’s Workforce Training program provides customized, on-site instruction to help employers improve employee performance and achieve business goals.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND INTERNSHIPS
Students expand work-related skills while applying their knowledge in a business setting. Transferable college credit is earned for paid work, internships, volunteering, and working abroad.
