About the Malaria Map Application
The CDC malaria map application is an interactive map which provides information on malaria throughout the world. Users can search or browse countries, cities, and place names and get information about malaria in that particular location and see recommended malaria prevention medicines for that area.
This tool is meant to complement resources currently available on the CDC Travelers' Health website and the CDC Malaria website.
The map application is a beta version, meaning that it is still undergoing final development. If you find a problem or have a suggestion about the map, please contact us via email at mrmfeedback@cdc.gov.
About Malaria
Please note that the level of malaria may differ according to altitude, population size, seasons, etc., so be sure to read all of the information for each location. Malaria also changes with time. While updates are being made constantly, this map does not guarantee lack of malaria .
You may also access malaria information by country by following the link at the bottom of the map start page. The link will take you to Health Information for International Travel (the Yellow Book) on the CDC Travelers' Health website. Please note that this link provides country-level information only.
