Recurrent Anal Cancer
Current Clinical Trials
Local recurrences and/or persistent disease after treatment with radiation therapy and chemotherapy or
surgery as the primary treatment may be controlled by using the alternate
treatment (surgical resection after radiation and vice versa).[1] Clinical
trials are exploring the use of radiation therapy with chemotherapy and/or
radiosensitizers to improve local control.
Current Clinical Trials
Check for U.S. clinical trials from NCI's PDQ Cancer Clinical Trials Registry that are now accepting patients with recurrent anal cancer. The list of clinical trials can be further narrowed by location, drug, intervention, and other criteria.
