Bonneville Dam Fish Camera(Low speed)

Updating Photo of view into fish ladder

See what fish are migrating through the ladder at Bonneville Dam's Oregon Shore counting station.

Image updates every 15-45 seconds.

TECHNICAL NOTES: The Visitor Center staff will reboot camera between 8 and 9 a.m. if found stuck from previous evening. Streaming video is not an option at this point. A black image means overhead office lights are needed by the fish counter and the lens cap is on.

NOTE ABOUT THE IMAGE: The lines you see are used by the fish counter to determine if a fish is a jack.

  • The distance between the left line and right line is 22 inches. Chinook jacks are smaller than 22 inches.
  • The distance from the middle line to the right line is 18 inches. Coho jacks are smaller than 18 inches.

Camera and hardware donated by Northwest Interpretive Association, a non-profit organization that supports and promotes the interpretive services at over 50 Federal sites, including two bookstores at Bonneville Lock and Dam.
