Energy Auditing Fundamentals

Presented online in a series of two live two-hour time modules

This seminar covers all the fundamental components of a complete energy audit. Many of the products being labeled as "energy audits" are nothing more than a generalized look at a facility or an investigation of a particular system (often for the purpose of selling a particular product or project). A truly effective energy audit needs to examine not only the major energy end use equipment, but also the operations, maintenance and management processes of the facility as well. It is one of the first actions which must be taken to accomplish an effective energy cost control program.

This course is designed to educate not only those professionals conducting audits do so effectively, but to inform end users of what they should expect of an audit, and government/utility/service provider managers of what their auditors should be including/doing in the audits they provide for their clients.

Fast Track CEM Preparatory Course for Energy Managers

Presented online in a series of six live two-hour time modules

This seminar is designed to provide the specific training and background needed by professionals preparing to sit for AEE's Certified Energy Manager (CEM®) exam. The course agenda also includes updates on topics of current importance to all energy managers.

Designed for engineers with a minimum of 3 years' experience in energy efficiency, this program covers the full scope of subjects addressed on the CEM examination, including problem-solving techniques oriented toward typical problems you'll encounter on the exam.
The designation "CEM" is a nationally recognized credential, having been adopted by a variety of entities throughout the U.S.

Developing an Energy Management Master Plan

Presented online in a series of three live two-hour time modules

This seminar covers all aspects of creating and implementing a successful, cost-reducing energy management program for any size or type of organization. It will take you step by step through the process of developing an energy management program -- or more broadly, an Energy Master Plan (EMP) -- to achieve more efficient energy consumption and lower total operating costs.

This course is designed to provide energy managers, senior corporate management, engineers, plant managers, and those who service the energy needs of an organization with the tools to design and implement a successful EMP and cut the impact of energy costs on their bottom line.

Energy Cost Control: How the Money Works

Two-hour online seminar

This seminar provides strategies for building organization-wide consensus support for energy improvements. The key to implementing energy improvements is to demonstrate to other department managers "what's in it for them" should they support these efforts. This is done by showing how the net benefits of energy improvements will filter down to a facility's bottom line.
