Enhancing Public Awareness and Outreach for Victims in Underserved Communities, Grant Announcement

The Office for Victims of Crime of the U.S. Department of Justice has put out a grant announcement for its Enhancing Public Awareness and Outreach for Victims in Underserved Communities Program. It is anticipated that five awards of up to $75,000 each will be made to help raise awareness among underserved populations regarding victims' rights and available resources in the local community. Underserved victim populations may include, but are not limited to, victims who are immigrants with limited English proficiency, are American Indians, have disabilities, or are deaf or hard of hearing. Faith-based and other community organizations are eligible and encouraged to apply. The deadline for applications is April 28, 2008. Residential Reentry Center Services, Sacramento County, California, Solicitation

The Bureau of Prisons of the U.S. Dept. of Justice has put out a solicitation notice for Residential Reentry Center Services for male and female offenders in Sacramento County, California. The response deadline is 2:00 pm EST on May 28, 2008. The contract period shall consist of a base period of two (2) years with three (3) 1-year option periods for renewal at the discretion of the Government. Faith-based and community organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible.
