Community & Friends

SRJC is a vibrant cultural center of the Santa Rosa community offering exciting athletics events, concerts, films, lectures, and theatre and musical performances, among many other events. You can attend holiday musical and chorale performances, access our libraries on both the Santa Rosa and Petaluma campuses, attend productions of the nationally renown Summer Repertory Theatre, participate in the Arts & Lecture series, enjoy the exhibits in the Santa Rosa Junior College Museum and fascinating Planetarium shows, and SRJC’s festive open house that’s free to the whole community the first Sunday in May, Day Under the Oaks!

The College’s popular Community Education Program offers not-for-credit classes designed for personal interest, business and professional development, and lifelong learning. You can explore these class offerings through the Community Education Bulletin, which is mailed three times a year to residents of the District.

You can take classes at SRJC’s new Culinary Arts Café and Bakery in downtown Santa Rosa at 458 B Street, or just stop in during the week for delicious coffee and pastries or a tasty lunch made by SRJC’s own students and professional chef instructors.

Review SRJC’s monthly activities on the online Calendar of Events, and get current parking information. Remember, if you’re looking for something interesting, fun, and educational to do right in the heart of your community, SRJC invites you to enjoy the array of activities year round at SRJC, as well as the incredible talent of SRJC students, visiting guests and artists, instructors, and community members. Days, evenings, and weekends, there’s something for everyone at SRJC!
