Students Collage

At Santa Rosa Junior College there is no typical student. Our students have prepared for college at different high schools and other schools and colleges. When you enroll at SRJC you will meet people of different economic backgrounds, ethnicities, religions, races, political perspectives, traditions, tastes, and sensibilities. You will encounter ideas and values you admire, some you'll reject, and still others with which you will wrestle with for years. It is from such mutual enthusiasm or a difference of opinion that ignites the spark of learning that will make your educational experience at SRJC so rewarding.

SRJC students learn much from one another. You will find that your college education doesn't just take place in the classroom when discussions spill over to college walkways or the cafeteria, at rehearsals of a new play, in editorial meetings for the student newspaper The Oak Leaf, following a lecture by a visiting speaker, at a football game, or in a club meeting.

We find that the most successful students take full advantage of what SRJC has to offer, and we offer a lot! There are so many people to meet, programs and events to attend, interesting student organizations and activities to contribute to, and resources to access that support your success while enrolled. We urge you to explore these and more experiences outlined on our Web pages to ensure that while you are enrolled at SRJC your time will be both inspiring and remarkable!
