There has been on-and-off discussion about going with a different /scratch quota model on franklin. In particular, there seems to be a fair amount of support for purging old ( > 30 days?) files daily, and either eliminating quotas or making them rather huge. This could potentially encourage "touch scripts", and we'd have to be on the lookout for that. Anyway, should we bring this up at NUG?
