Programs » Diversity

Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society, affirms that to have a positive influence upon the future of scientific research and the world of the twenty-first century, it must be committed to opening the scientific and engineering community, as well as Sigma Xi itself, to all persons without regard to characteristics such as age color, creed, cultural backgrounds, gender, national origin, physical disability, race, religious affiliation, or sexual orientation. Through a variety of programs and partnerships, Sigma Xi members aim to achieve these goals. Sigma Xi acts as the institutional sponsor of the Just-Garcia-Hill Web Site for Minority Scientists. This site will offer resources to students as well as professional scientists, including biographies, career services, publication information and mentoring support.
