FDA VETERINARY MEDICINE ADVISORY COMMITTEE TO MEET
The Food and Drug Administration's Veterinary Medicine Advisory Committee will convene on November 20, 1996, 8:30 a.m., in the Grand Ballroom of the Best Western, 1251 West Montgomery Avenue, Rockville, Maryland. The meeting will be open to the public for the entire day, with an opportunity for public participation in the afternoon.
The committee will discuss the status of the sometribove (Posilac®) Post-Approval Monitoring Program. FDA approved sometribove, a recombinant bovine somatotropin, on November 12, 1993, and the product (Posilac®) began commercial distribution on February 4, 1994.
