Clarification of the Proper Use of Monesin in Dairy Cows
Since the October 2004 approval of the drug monensin for increased milk production efficiency in dairy cows, the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has received numerous questions pertaining to the proper use of the drug. FDA's Center for Veterinary Medicine (CVM) has posted answers to some of the most frequently asked questions concerning the use of monensin in feed for dairy cows.
