Physicians and Nurse Midwives Needed for Research Study

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) is looking for physicians and nurse midwives to participate in a telephone interview as part of a research study. This study is to help FDA improve how information about medications is communicated to healthcare providers who treat pregnant or nursing women. The study is being conducted on FDA’s behalf by Decision Partners, an independent research firm.

If you are willing to participate, your name will be included in a pool of candidates. The interview sample will be drawn from this pool. If selected, you will be contacted by Decision Partners to schedule an interview with one of their researchers. The interview will take between 45 to 60 minutes. It will be scheduled for a time that is convenient for you.

Your participation is strictly voluntary. Your responses will be completely confidential. No comments will be attributed to specific individuals. The results of the study may be published on the FDA’s website as well as in professional publications.

As a token of our appreciation, we are offering a $150 honorarium to each participant who completes an interview.

If you treat women of reproductive age who are or may become pregnant and you are interested in participating, or would like more information, please contact Jan Vonk of Decision Partners, either by email at jvonk@decisionpartners.com or by phone at 1 (877) 588-9106.
