March 6, 2002 Meeting

Date and Time:

The meeting will be held by teleconference on March 6, 2002, 12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Location:

Food and Drug Administration, Bldg. 29, Conference Room 121, 8800 Rockville Pike, Bethesda, MD. This meeting will be held by a telephone conference call. A speaker telephone will be provided in the conference room to allow public participation in the meeting.

Agenda:

The committee will complete recommendations pertaining to the influenza virus vaccine formulation for the 2002-2003 season, and review and discuss the research programs of two CBER Laboratories: Laboratories of Hepatitis Virus (LHV) and Laboratory of Vector-borne Viral Diseases (LVVD).

Oral Presentations:

Between approximately 2:00 to 2:30 p.m., and 3:00 to 3:30 p.m. oral presentations from the public will be scheduled. Those desiring to make formal oral presentations should notify the contact person before February 25, 2002.

Closed Committee Deliberations:

From 3:30 to 4:30 p.m., the meeting will be closed to permit discussion where disclosure would constitute a clearly unwarranted invasion of personal privacy ( 5 U.S.C. 552b(c)(6)).
