The next NUG teleconference is Thursday, August 24 at 9:00 AM Pacific Time. On the agenda: - Computers update. Are the users happy with the additional nodes on Jacquard? Is Bassi running at full performance now? Why the emergency downtime on Seaborg last week? [submitted by Stephane Ethier] - more details about the NERSC-5 announcement. For example, Will the new computer be at LBL in Berkeley or on the Oakland site? [submitted by Stephane Ethier and Vince Wayland] - fast data transfer mechanisms between NERSC and remote sites.
