Dear FDA,
 
As a smallscale farmer I am strongly opposed to a regulation that does not 
 require labelling of genetically engineered foods.  There are too many 
questions about genetic engineering, and too few answers.  Please require: 
Mandatory pre-market safety testing on all GE foods; mandatory pre-market 
environmental review on all GE crops and foods; and, most importantly, 
mandatory labeling of all GE foods!  I just read in an agricultural 
publication that 70% of our food supply now has GE constituents.  As a 
consumer I am appalled.  Mandatory labelling will allow consumers to make 
educated decisions.  Please live up to your responsibility to the American 
people, instead of caving in to the special interests of a small number of 
multi-national corportations.  Require full disclosure.
