Dear Sir or Madam,

I am writing to urge you to support Docket # 98P-0151/CP1 that would
forbid the slaughter of downed animals.

This would be an important step to help ensure that animals destined for
slaughter will be treated more humanely.  I have, unfortunately, seen
some pictures of downed animals and it was very upsetting to think that
they are allowed to suffer they way they do.  At least let them die with
some dignity.

I hope you will support this and thank you for your attention to my
email letter.
