I have been unable to drink regular milk, after being a lifetime heavy milk consumer, when the milk from hormone injected cattle became a regular staple on our grocery shelves. Suddenly, stomach cramping and rashes came from nowhere. My grocer had complaints from other customers and suggested I might try to eliminate the milk, Once the milk was eliminated, the problems disappeared. Now, I understand, a lot of soy is being crossed with peanuts to make it resistant to certain pests. However, soy is currently the safe milk and nut for me. Peanuts have been a digestive problem for years. LIke many others, I have to shop almost exclusively in the organic section and this is not easy in Muskogee, Oklahoma. I am certain that there are other safe unlabeled foods in the store, but without labeling, the larger manufacturers lose out on my dollars because I am unwilling to take a chance with my health. Thank you for considering my request to require labeling of all genetically modified foods.
