Subject: genetically engineered food items

In regards to whether to test and label genetically
engineered foods, I think it is important to label
those foods as genetically engineered and to have
testing information ( ie: adverse affects ) on the
labels so that consumers can make an informed decision
in the purchase and the consumption of these foods.
Continuous testing needs to be done to ensure public
safety. I think there too many unknowns in regards to
genetic engineering and feel it would be irresponsible
for the fda to treat the matter lightly.
