I am writing to tell you that I want a choice about what I eat. I am asking you to change the FDA's proposed rule concerning bioengineered foods (Docket #00N-1396) and REQUIRE LABELING OF BIOENGINEERED FOODS for people and animals. I choose not to eat bioengineered foods and voluntary labeling does not protect my right to choose what I eat and what I feed my children. I also request the FDA REQUIRE MORE THOROUGH TESTING before these foods are placed on the market. There has not yet been adequate testing to justify the marketing of these materials as food.
