Dear Corporate and Government Leaders, Genetically engineered food ingredients or crops should not be allowed on the market until: 1) Independent safety testing demonstrates they have no harmful effects on human health or the environment, 2) They are labeled to ensure the consumer's right-to-know, and 3) The biotechnology corporations that manufacture them are held responsible for any harm. Please, I really don't like the idea that I'm eating something that could possibly cause some illness that we don't know about. We don't know what some of these chemicals are going to do to us in 30-40 years. I want to take the responsibity of either eating or not eating genetically engineered food. Again, please label the food. Sincerely Audrey Hill Salt Lake City, Utah 84111
