Subject: latex ban

i am a 41 year old nurse who has a severe latex allergy .this has
impacted my life severely. i have reactions eating in restaurants after
consuming food handled with latex gloves. my local hospital has informed
me that they are not equipped to handle latex patients. after 17 years
in the medical field and following all government policies to include
oshas recommendations i find the very thing i was told to use for
protection against disease has devastated my life  and harmed my health
worse than most diseases could. my nursing career is in shambles after
suffering anaphylaxis in a room where latex gloves were used.I beg the
commitee to please inact the proposed ban on latex products before more
people become disabled from this
