Subject: No Downers Campaign

I am writing to you in support to the Farm Sanctuary's
continuing efforts to stop the purchase of meat from
downed animals. I am in full support of docket number
98P-0151N which prohibits the slaughter of downed
animals. Is it not enough that people actually eat
animals? Do they have to consume animals that have
been dragged, pulled, suffered and inhumamely treated?
The risk of contamintion should be enough to stop the
purchase, or consumption, of downed animals.
