BASKETBALL ENTERS CONFERENCE PLAY

The Women's Basketball team team is now 12-9 after starting league play in the Big 8 conference. The Bear Cubs played a very tough schedule in the preseason and survived with a 9-9 record. Santa Rosa faced many of the top teams in the North and they have prepared themselves for a tough league season with San Joaquin Delta (four time league champs), Sierra College, Sacramento City College, Cosumnes River College, American River College, Diablo Valley College and Modesto Junior College.  The Bear Cubs played in four tournaments in the preseason winning the consolation in two of those four. With the strong preseason under their belt, the group of mainly freshman are looking to take home their first league title in five years.
