As webmasters for the main IFAS pages, we sometimes receive email concerning topics that we have no expertise in or are not connected with. In order to help you quickly find the right people, we offer this selection of frequently asked questions.
Also note that IFAS faculty and agents are familiar with products (such as pesticides) and growing conditions that pertain to the state of Florida. Some products may not be available in your area, or their use may be illegal. You should always contact your local agency first.
Who do I contact about a page or site that's not working? Contact the webmaster, please provide the full Web address (http://etc) of the page you are trying to reach, and/or the full Web address of the site that contains a broken link.
Where can I find academic information, or get a catalog? Admission, undergraduate, graduate, and distance education information is provided by the College of Agricultural & Life Sciences. For online catalogs, please see the Publications section of UF's Prospective Students page.
Can you answer my agricultural, livestock, human science or general IFAS question? Please contact your local Florida county extension office. Every county in every state has one -- the phone number may also be found in your phone book in the government offices section for your county, under "Cooperative Extension Services." You may also wish to contact an appropriate Research and Education Center or department. Questions concerning IFAS operations or public relations should be directed to IFAS External & Media Relations.
How can I find this person...? We provide a directory page with links for finding UF and IFAS faculty and staff. You can also contact IFAS Personnel Affairs. We are not allowed to search for people for you, or forward your email to someone.
Where do I find international student information? Please see IFAS International Programs or the UF International Center site for information about overseas studies, or support for non-U.S. students.
