The Graduate Student Assitant pay rate will be dependent upon meeting specific academic criteria.
Duties And Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the Staff Services Manager I, incumbent will work as a team member to assist in the development of the Employment Training Panel's (ETP) Strategic Plan, Annual Report and internal studies. Incumbent will assist with the collection and analysis of appropriate data. Incumbent will also assist with the organization and maintenance of the ETP Library, and of the updating of the ETP Internet Home Page. Perform the following activities toward this end:

45% Assist in the research and evaluation of training contracts. Responsibilities include assisting with the identification of research sample, design of survey instruments, collection of data, and helping to conduct fieldwork. Also responsible for helping compile, analyze and interpret data to evaluate the effectiveness of training contracts.

20% Assist in the development and updating of the ETP Strategic Plan. This requires the ability to help gather information from a variety of sources, including applicable legislation, regulations, policies, state and local labor market information, program specific data, and research reports.

15% Assist with the preparation of the ETP Annual Report to the Legislature and Administration. Responsibilities include helping collect program data, and assisting in the presentation of findings.

15% Responsible for assisting with maintenance of the ETP Library and helping to keep the ETP Internet Home Page up to date.

5% Perform other duties as assigned.
