Subject: Fortran and C compilers on Bassi

Dear Bassi users, The IBM Fortran and C/C++ default compilers will be upgraded on April 16, 2007. Fortran version change 9.1.0.6 to 9.1.0.8 C/C++ version change 7.0.0.2 to 8.0.0.0 You may test the new compilers by loading the appropriate module: xlf/new or xlc/new An additional version of XLF is available: xlf/10.1.0.3 To use the "Non-Default Installation" version of the compilers, you must load the module both before you compile and before you run the resulting executable.
