Subject: Bassi will be unavailable Wednesday April 26, 15:00-23:59

Dear NERSC Users, Bassi is scheduled to be unavailable for running jobs Wednesday, April 26 from 15:00 until 23:59 PDT. IBM and NERSC will be performing AIX 5.3 testing during that time. Also on Bassi: NERSC's IPM performance tool currently prints incorrect derived FLOP counts and rates. The corrected values for all jobs that used IPM are available on the NERSC web site: https://www.nersc.gov/nusers/status/jobs/bassi/ (Click on the StepID link in the list of jobs to access IPM results). An updated version of IPM will be available on Bassi soon. Richard Gerber
