Subject: MIPSpro version 7.4.2m compiler suite available on Escher

Dear NERSC users, MIPSpro version 7.4.2m compiler suite is available on Escher. This new version can be accessed by loading the module "MIPSpro/7.4.2m". To view release notes on-line use the command: "grelnotes" Unless problems are found, the new version will become the default on August 17, 2004. Please note the default refers to the default version a user obtains by executing the comand "module load MIPSpro". The current version, 7.3.1.3m may be accessed by loading the module "MIPSpro/7.3.1.3m" after August 17, 2004. Regards.
