[franklin-users] new pgi, xt-mpt, acml, and fftw are set to default, new xt-craypat and apprentice2 are available on Franklin |

| Dear Franklin users,
1) As we announced last week, the new versions of pgi/8.0.1,
xt-mpt/3.1.0, acml/4.2.0, and fftw/2.1.5.1 have been set to default today.
To see available versions:
% module avail pgi
% module avail xt-mpt
% module avail acml
% module avail fftw
To use the older versions, issue the "module swap" command, such as:
% module swap pgi pgi/7.2.5
% module swap xt-mpt xt-mpt/3.0.3
% module swap acml acml/4.1.0
% module swap fftw fftw/2.1.5
2) xt-craypat/4.4.0 and apprentice2/4.4.0 have been installed. The
current default versions are xt-craypat/4.3.0 and apprentice2/4.3.0.
To use the new versions:
% module swap xt-craypat xt-craypat/4.4.0
% module swap apprentice2 apprentice2/4.4.0
To see available versions:
% module avail xt-craypat
% module avail apprentice2
If no problems are reported, the new versions of xt-craypat/4.4.0 and
apprentice2/4.4.0 will be set to default on Tuesday, January 20.
