Dear Franklin users, There are now new versions of PGI, xt-mpt, ACML, FFTW, and xt-libsci installed on Franklin. 1) pgi/8.0.1, xt-mpt/3.0.4, xt-mpt/3.1.0, acml/4.2.0, and fftw/2.1.5.1 have been installed. The current default versions are pgi/7.2.5, xt-mpt/3.0.3, acml/4.1.0, and fftw/2.1.5 respectively. To use the new versions: % module swap pgi pgi/8.0.1 % module swap xt-mpt xt-mpt/3.1.0 % module swap acml acml/4.2.0 % module swap fftw fftw/2.1.5.1 To see available versions: % module avail pgi % module avail xt-mpt % module avail acml % module avail fftw If no problems are reported, the new version of pgi/8.0.1, xt-mpt/3.1.0, acml/4.2.0, and fftw/2.1.5.1 will be set to default on Tuesday, January 13. 4) xt-libsci/10.3.1 has been installed. The current default version is xt-libsci/10.2.1. To use the new version: % module swap xt-libsci xt-libsci/10.3.1 And if you would like to use fftw/2.1.5 (the default version of fftw) or fftw/2.1.5.1 instead of the fftw/3.1.1 version automatically loaded by xt-libsci/10.3.1, please also do the following: % module swap fftw/3.1.1 fftw/2.1.5.1 To see available versions: % module avail xt-libsci % module avail fftw We are not going to set xt-libsci/10.3.1 to default in the short term since it loads the fftw/3.1.1 version automatically, and could cause conflicts with the default fftw/2.1.5 or fftw/2.1.5.1. Best Regards, Helen He NERSC User Services _______________________________________________ franklin-users mailing list franklin-users@nersc.gov
