I thought the idea of the serial queue was to allow one-processor
jobs for a reasonable amount of time (like 8 hours). but it has
a limit of only 30 minutes:
s00505> llsubmit do.b10_3p_wavp
subfilter: default repo mp26 will be charged
llsubmit: Processed command file through Submit Filter:
"/usr/common/nsg/etc/subfilter".
llsubmit: The "WALL_CLOCK_LIMIT = 04:05:00" hard limit of (14700
seconds) is being adjusted down to administration file hard limit (2100
seconds).
llsubmit: The job "s02009.nersc.gov.913" has been submitted.
s
I can get this interactively (I think) so I don't see the purpose at all
of a 30 minute limit.
Francesca: how do I send this message to the queue committee?
thanks
steve
