Multi-Pass Time-of-Flight (MTOF) Separator

During 2005, the University Radioactive Ion Beam (UNIRIB) group completed construction of a multi-pass-time-of-flight device. When operational, it will enable the UNIRIB group to extend their research on unstable nuclei into regions currently inaccessible. The mechanical and electrical systems have also been completed and testing is underway.
